Laura M. Piñero, PMHNP-BC, is a compassionate and dedicated board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner proudly serving the vibrant and diverse community of South Florida. Born and raised in Miami in a bilingual English-Spanish household, Laura’s cultural and linguistic fluency allows her to connect deeply with patients from all walks of life.
Laura began her nursing journey at Nova Southeastern University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2017. Driven by her passion for mental health and commitment to patient care, she returned to Nova Southeastern to complete her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health in 2022.
Today, Laura provides comprehensive, evidence-based psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults. She specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders, and overall emotional well-being.
