Approach to Care

Zachary began his professional journey at the City University of New York at Hunter College, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Adolescent Education. After obtaining a New York State teaching certification in English Language Arts, he taught English in an inner-city public school for four years. During this time, he discovered his calling to work with people on a deeper individual level.

In 2019, Zachary earned his Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the City University of New York at Hunter College. As a therapist with experience in both private and non-profit sectors, he practices as a mindful, humanistic, and integrative clinician. Zachary works with children, adolescents, families, and adults, assisting them in navigating the various social and ecological systems through which they exist.

He believes that beyond lines of culture, socioeconomic status, education levels, age, and religion lies the universal need for empathy, compassion, therapeutic optimism, and resilience. Zachary is dedicated to empowering his clients to explore their identities, overcome challenges, and achieve personal growth.
